Panic Cure pt 2
You Can Cure Panic Attack Using Your Mind Power
In this panic cure, you will learn a simple technique that can help you cure panic attacks. This lesson affects the mental aspects of panic attacks – what you are thinking about and the emotions you are feeling when you are experiencing the symptoms of panic.
The Method To Cure Panic Attacks
Staying in the present – asking yourself:
“what is happening right now in this moment” and
“how can I respond to it resourcefully.”
Panic attacks usually last no longer than 30 minutes. By staying in the present, you can overcome panic attacks, through your thinking and telling yourself to remain in the present. Conscious Breathing and Self-talk phrases can also help.
Why Staying In The Present Helps You Cure Panic Attack
Physiologically, we can understand your panic attacks as your “fight or flight” response being triggered. It’s largely unconscious, and seemingly out of your control. It happens in an instant, you are taken unawares.
Psychologically, it is the almost instantaneous onset of your panic attack that is disorienting. Your body changed it’s internal state, and your thoughts follow – leading to feelings of fear, anxiety, etc. Your thoughts are responding to your body… You begin to interpret the feelings, and what they mean to you is panic!
Cure Panic Attacks With This Simple Program
By becoming present, instant by instant, you begin to exert control over your thinking, which naturally alters your body’s chemistry. After all, who is in charge of your body – you are! By learning to quickly recoverĀ by being present, you can naturally treat your panic attack.
By asking yourself over and over – “what is happening right now, and now, and now…” and focusing your attention outside your self – you decrease the impact of the physiological changes, you show yourself, logically, that there is nothing to be afraid of or panic about, and you can take control of your internal state. You can cure your panic attack!
What If I Can’t Control My Thinking?
Start by doing your deep breathing. If you practice that daily, you can easily begin your breathwork as you notice the symptoms of panic attack beginning, and once you have that focus, you can begin to get present to your situation, your surroundings, what’s going on outside of you!
Summary
By turning your attention outward while experiencing a panic attack, you engage the logical, rational part of your brain – the part that was sidestepped when your primitive brain got stimulated.
Engaging your higher functioning mind will help cure panic attacks and give you a sense of control and empowerment.
